I have a dell xps m1710 laptop that I got bout 3 years ago and didnt know I could use it to replace my cable dvr boxes at home. My problem is that I dont know about what type of hard ware and software that might be required to do this. I dont have an hd tuner card or remote. I am running microsoft windows xp media center version 2002 service pack 3 with a intel duo t2500@ 2.00GHz. and 2.oo GB of ram. thats bout all I know please help.
