MY COMPUTER WONT STAY ON

ADVICE PLEASE    MY COMPUTER WONT STAY ON GRN LT TURNS ON FOR 3 SEC. THEN  TURNS YELLOW BUT WONT COMPLETELY TURN COMPUTER OFF YELLOW STAYS ON .

First, are we talking about your monitor, or computer? Second, please turn off your CAPS... Using all CAPS means that you are yelling at us, and is seen as being "rude".

Try checking the Power Options Properties:

1. Right-click the desktop and select Properties
2. In Display Properties, click the Screen Saver tab, then click the Power button
3. In Power Options Properties, make sure the "Turn off monitor" setting is set to Never
4. Click Apply and OK to close Power Options Properties, then click OK to close Display Properties

Let us know if that does not work.
