    i have a desktop computer with a asus p5pe-vm motherboard and i put a 1gig RAM and then i planned to put another RAM with a size of 2 gig, is it compatible with a different RAM size? thank you..

    If there's an extra slot on the motherboard, it will be fine.

    You better buy the same size stick...that board only supports 2G Total...
