keep getting disconnected! HELP!

hello, i dont know if i have a virus or not but i just keep getting disconnected. i really dont know why. when i go on the internet i can only be on it for about a couple of minutes, then i get disconnected. after a minute or 2, i can get back on the internet.

someone play help me! thankyou.

     reg.....I don't know either ........what is the result of your anti virus scan ?
    Is it up to date ?
    What operating system are you using?
    Are you on dial up or hi-speed ?

    Please let us know so we may properly advise you .
