My computer will not access google -- only google

Hi everyone,

I can't access google on my notebook.  Google is the only website that doesnt work.  Everything else is fine.  I am running Vista.  I am the only user.  I ran spybot search and destroy and it found nothing.  I run windows live one care and it found nothing.  I checked my security settings and google was not working.  I was able to get google by typing in the ip address, but it still would not work from that point on.  I tried the following commands that Sykes in Chat gave me:

netsh int ip reset c:\reset log.txt

netsh winsock reset

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /flushdns

But they didnt seem to do anything

Can anyone help me?

Sorry, didn't mean to offend.  I haven't tried your fix yet since I am at work, I just wanted to see if there were any other solutions out their seeing as I didn't get too much of a response.  I wasn't sure if I posted in the correct room originally.  I do really appreciate your help.
