My old (five years) pc with XP is slow, slow, slow, and I've attempted reformat, I have the original XP disks and when I try to use them I get a message to the effect that the disks aren't up to date (I guess since there's been four million (exxageration) automatic updates over the years), and the reformat is unsuccessful. My next step, I guess, is to take the computer up in the tower crane at work and drop it from 400 feet and see if that fixes it. Next computer, WITHOUT FAIL, will be a Mac.
