Looking for new computer

I am looking for a starter computer for my kid. Something like a barebones kit from tiger would be good. I don't need much of a machine. Low end P4 would be good.

Anyone have a good place to get one cheap?

If you meant tigerdirect.com, that seems like a good place to get a barebones kit.  I could be wrong but I doubt you find better pricing elsewhere.
