My kaspersky internet security 7 detect every time "Trojan program Trojan.Win32.Patched.dy"in ,C:....\local settings\temp\temp16.temp . How can I remove this?

To remove Trojan.Win32.Patched.Dy manually, follow these steps:

It does not matter whether you have antivirus software installed or not, these steps will work fine. I've tested it on WinXP SP3.

1. Download Total Commander. To obtain one, just search for it in Google. It's free, so you don't need any registration

2. Start Total Commander (in further, TCMD), and go to Configurations menu, Options. In the opened window, select Display on the left panel. Check 'show hidden/system files (for experts onyl!)', and then click OK.

3. In the root of drive C (or the drive your OS boots from), you'll find file autorun.inf.

4. Select the file, and press the right mouse button until a popup menu will appear. Select 'Properties...', and uncheck the 'Read only' attribute. Now click OK.
Select it in TCMD, and press F4 to edit it. TCMD will open Notepad.
