One can never have too much redundant crap.

So, how do you know what you're about to delete? You don't. Well, if joyful bliss is the way you keep your machine up and running.. This is perfect!

CCleaner deletes what you sent to the recycle bin...why wouldn't you know what you're about to delete?
And judging from this and some of your other posts, you should lose the snotty attitude, not everyone is the apparant genius you think you are.

If I'm not mistaken, which I rarely am, by the way, Ccleaner is set to automatically empty the recycle bin!

Come here and get your hug!

Once again, it's a simple button in your quick launch that automatically runs Ccleaner instead of opening it up...then running it.  If you checked it out in the first place you would have figured it out for yourself.  It integrates with ccleaner, it is not another piece of redundant crap.

For the record, Raptor was a part of ComputerHope from the beginning...well almost...

Anyways, you have to set CCleaner to clear the Recycle Bin.
Personally, I always want to open CCleaner to see what is selected.

It's not always a good thing to keep clearing your browser cache. It just means web pages will take longer to respond, although I recommend clearing it at least once every fortnight.

I don't actually understand what this program is intended to do, let alone what it can do that can't already be accomplished.
        Can someone fill me in?
Also, clearing web browser cache is often a good thing - what if pages change images etc?  Without clearing the cache or doing a forced refresh, you won't see the new ones.

Doesn't the browser look for updates to pages at start-up? I recall there being an option for that in IE6.... Just like the browser re-reads the HOSTS file when you shut down and restart the browser.

Clearing the cache is annoying, I'd rather have it remember what I visited. It's a personal preference, really.

It's supposed to check for updates, but it doesn't always work.
If the page name is the same, and all that changes is, for example, an image named logo.gif (same name, same size, just a different image) the browser usually loads the old image from cache.
I've been caught by this a few times myself.

        Ugh... whats that command...

A shortcut on your desktop that goes as follows:
        C:\Program Files\Ccleaner\Ccleaner.exe /AUTO

Will automatically clean all your selected things. Same as selecting "Clear on Startup"...

Not to mention, adding the option to right click on the recycle bin, and "Run CCleaner" to automatically clean things... or just right click, and "Empty Recycle Bin"

Still, however you want to work it. Personally, I just prefer not add a program that only runs a command.

If it could sing and dance, I would install it. :P

Anyone have it yet? How is it?
