the EasyBCD thing said it worked but still the same problem and my vista install disk says that it can't recover it or something, im currently downloading the recovery disk from NeoSmart

Riddle us this, Batman.  Why is your genuine Vista disc not bootable?

Part of the problem is most people don't generally deal with computer problems. So for most they think that close enough is good enough.

I only forgive laziness to a certain extent.

I asked you for an EXACT message.  You said.

i've tried making a recovery disk and it says that there is nothing wrong with boot.

That's not an exact message that you would get during the process.

What happened when you made the Windows RE disc?

What happened when you started the computer with it?  Again, EXACT error and warning messages, please.

Next time, anything less than an exact message, and I will no longer concern myself with the issue you are having.  If you solve the problem, great!  If not, it'll no longer be of concern to be.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I don't appreciate it when people make my life harder when I try to make their lives easier.  It's give and take.  Give me information, and I will try and help you.  You don't want to do that?  I won't help you, then.
