    « on: December 20, 2008, 01:45:35 PM »
    Hi all,
i am having a problem that i have never come accross before and am looking for a few pointers. i have installed an new motherboard, processor, etc,  everything seems ok, all the hardware is detected by the bios set up, but now i have come to install windows, i get so far and then a blue screen appears stating windows has been shutdown to prevent any damage to the computer. i have tried several times with different dvd drives and hdd's but keep getting the same problem. any ideas?
