    Computer wont start

    The computer is HP and has windows vista  on it.  My first problem is that when I try to enter the  password, some of the keys on the keyboard cause two or three characters to display, so I cant enter the password.  Do you think my keyboard is bad or could it be something within the computer that is causing the keyboard input to act wird?

    Try to use a known working keyboard on your computer to be sure its your keyaboard that has the problem

      I did , i bought a new keyboard just an hour back and yes it is the %&%%$& keyboard.  Thanks for your help
