Dell Inspiron 1521 Video Upgrade

I have a Dell Inspiron 1521 with an AMD Turion 64X2, Radeon X1270, 2 Gb RAM running Windows Vista.  I know the Dell Inspirons can be purchased with a Nvidia GeForce Go 8600M GT (256MB) but can I change out the Radeon for the Nvidia?

You want to change the Video Card in a Laptop? This is really not recommended, if possible.

sorry forgot that part...just got call of duty world at war for xmas but can't play it..

it installs fine but when i select single player, the screen just stays black with music in the background

i also looked at the little windows experience information and it said the minimum is a 4.1 and my comp is a 3.1
