Outlook - exporting/importing email account settings
    « on: December 26, 2008, 03:06:14 PM »
I installed XP on to a new hard drive. I still have the old hard drive with all of the files.

I have imported my old .pst, so I now have all of my folders, emails, contacts.

I had several email accounts set up. is there a way to get this off of the old hard drive?
I can't boot up using that hard drive. I have tried and tried. the OS is corrupt and i wasn't able to repair it, but I can still access all of the files on that drive just fine.

Unfortunately, Outllook does not have a built-in export feature for email accounts.  There are third party tools that can be used to do this, such as this: http://www.backsettings.com/outlook-backup.html.  But, it's too late for that.  On the plus side, with only several accounts to re-create, this should not be a big deal.
