My machine is a desktop with Vista ultimate and a dial up connection.
When I am connected to the net there are two little monitors in the notification area. When I am not connected this is indicate by a red X over the monitors.
Recently upon connecting the red X stays. The connection does work even though the indication is otherwise.
Does anyone have an idea how I might correct this?
