    These annoying balloons

    I looked up to see if you have anything to shut down these annoying balloons but nothing to correct this , does any one know how to shut these balloons for the update warnings? using XP pro

    A great way is to install the updates.

    Really, you should keep your computer updated. Updates keep you secure, and prevent hacking exploits.

      I tried what you said patio but I still have the balloons after turning off the machine and restarting

      mabye because updates kill pirated software sometimes just a guess

        My movies went gray after instlling sp3 then my cd burner didnot copy anymore so I decided to reformat and start all over and not put sp3 in ,I only went up to sp2. but I would like to still get rid of the reminders

        reminders to get sp3? sp3 is fine and it should work

        If it doesn't work, you can always remove SP3 from the list.

          Are you running XP Media Center Edition?  I know SP3 tends to cause a lot of problems with it...

          If not, you should just make your own SP3 slipstreamed XP using nLite: http://www.nliteos.com
