Might be useful. Some of the listings are a bit old: in the "Free BASIC Compilers and Interpreters" section I looked to see what they say about FreeBasic, and saw: "At the time this was written, the compiler is still very new, and has little documentation.". FreeBasic v0.0.1 was released in November 2004 and at this time (nearly 12 years later) has gone through many versions (Windows 32 & 64, MS_DOS and Linux) and is considered a well established compiler with very extensive documentation.
