Everything On My Desktop Dissapears!

Hiya guys, I'm new to this website. Saw it on google search, I've recently had this problem where my PC Desktop would disappear and all the Icons and taskbar at the bottom would go, now because I didn't think it was too much, I just went onto task manager and would run explorer.exe whenever it happens, but now its really irritating as I cant do anything without it disappearing, opening folders, files, help?
I'm using Windows Vista 32bit, I'm 13 BTW, I'm doing I.T at school, I've downloaded much Antivirus softwares(AVG,Norton,BitDefender), Spyware(Uniblue SpyEraser), registry fixes(Uniblue Registry), anything that would help, but it doesn't...And well, I guess I was wrong

Get rid of all of your antivirus software except 1. (Preferably AVG, get rid of Norton for sure). Having more than one antivirus software running is not recommended.
