Need some help please

[Help buying computer]

First off I should say that I really dont know anything about computers so some input on this would be appreciated.

I want to buy a computer with these items:
INTEL PENTIUM 4.30E GHZ 1MB BOXED
GIGABYTE 8S648FXL 800FSB DDR MOTHERBOARD
512MB PC2700 DDR MEMORY
MAXTOR 80GB 7200RPM EIDE HARD DRIVE
MITSUMI 54X CD-ROM DRIVE
ATI RADEON 9200SE 128MB DDR VIDEO CARD
CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER PCI 128 SOUND CARD
56K V.92 DATA/FAX MODEM
1.44 MB FLOPPY DRIVE
MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP HOME

I would use this computer for gaming mostly. I'd like to know things like:
Would it run well?
Do these items fit well together?
Is something not necessary?
Is something else necessary?
Any other important peices of information you can tell me as well.

A price would be good. also i game and 512Ram wont be good for much longer. i'd find one with a gig. also that graphics card is pretty shoddy.
