Dude, this is spacecat we're talking about here... He doesn't use a conventional programming language, he talks to his computers in binary.

hey if your virus protection works theres no mal ware to uninstall

      FALSE or misleading information.

The is no anti-virus software that gets all of the malware. Not even close. The current anti-virus software in popular use only detects virus that has already been detected by researchers. Do anyone think when a new virus is released the people that make it let the anti-virus researchers in on the joke? At any one time the anti-virus will protect you from perhaps half of the things that could attack your computer. The hackers that make these things are no longer 12 year olds who like to tinker with computer programming. These people anre now organized gangsters with degrees in software engineering  and have accuse to huge web site servers overseas that are out of the jurisdiction of the US government. They already have libraries of malware that they will release when they please. They are running a mufti-million dollar business and the will keep on for some time.

      FALSE or misleading information.

Exactly. And you call yourself a hacker?

calling oneself a hacker is alike to calling oneself a member of anon. That is- it precludes being a member, or a hacker.

and in fact if they were to look up the REAL definition of hacker it pretty much means unseasoned programmer, and that doesn't sound exactly flattering.

Okay, I think you're being a little hard on poor spacecat, So he lied to look good, I do it all the time. Most the women I've hooked up with think that I am a doctor or a fireman or in the army or whatever.

        Hahaha, just kidding  ;)

No were not. If he doesn't like the way we do things at Computer Hope the don't let the door hit you in the *censored* on the way out. There are plenty of forums out there to join that don't care how things are done even if it is amateur. We though, do care.

my simple way is 3 step

            1. system restore
            2. virus scan / malware / spyware all-in one usually type disinfect
            3. registry key clean up.

Im no 'expert' at computer's but doesn't that just run the risk of the infection doubling?!

pretty much, since a lot of viruses embed themselves in it. I debunk the "three step program" in the other thread.
