    SWAPPING FROM ANOTHER COMPUTER?

    I HAVE 1 COMPUTER THAT IS WINDOWS XP PRO AND IT'S A  BETTER COMPUTER. AND I ALSO HAVE 1 THAT HAS VISTA. NOW I DONT HAVE THE CD FOR VISTA, WAS ALREADY WHEN I BOUGHT IT. CAN I STILL SOME HOW TAKE THAT VISTA TO ADD TO THE OTHER COMPUTER WITH OUT THE CD? IM TRYING TO MAKE TO BAD'S INTO 1 GOOD.LOL

      yes it is man i cant live with out my internet lol. but i guess there is a way but i cant even start up the computer that has vista.

      Use the computer that works.

      You can not transfer Vista.

        If the Vista machine came with it installed you may want to investigate whether there is a recovery partition on there...

        What do you want?
        You already have XP Pro on a better machine.
        That is about as good as it gets.
        Putting VISTA on it does not make it better.
        Unless you like AERO.

        But you can boot a live Ubuntu CD and bring up some cool
        graphics and pretend it is the Vista Aero
