    Hi again, I didn't know how to post an Everest report before (i.e., not in a paragraph), it's not a text, but I don't exactly have the text thing down, so this is the best I have, lol. Here goes nothing (everything above Debug - PCI) .

    I've tried the Device Manager (uninstalling & finding media/audio hardware to restore my sound) only to be turned away.

    So you still haven't bought a sound card for 20 Bucks and installed it...correct ? ?

      Hi Patio, if I get the sound card, how will I know what's compatible with my PC, or does it matter? Can I just get any card? Thanks. Thanks for your suggestion JJ, i'll see what happens. ETA, still nothing after the download.

        I thought I just click the logo on the desktop to run it. I know, i'm kind of slow, lol.
