Have followed all the steps as instructed by evilfantasy.

Am operating xp sp2, amd 2600, 512 ram. Forgive  me, I am not a comp pro.

Ran malwarebytes and had no hits hence no attachment here.

so whats the question is it that you remove this virus and it keeps coming back.

if this is the case you will need to run virus scan to remove and then remove the registry keys that keep making it come back these can usually be removed by using something like registry booster, registry mechanic also. it works by recognising that the virus is not there to launch and removes the associated key. this key if not removed recognises that the virus is not there and reinstalls it for you when you reboot your computer... this is how most annoying virus work. I'll say I'm not familiar with the one you've mentioned. but this may be a solution and for me its step i never leave out when disinfecting a machine.

Thanks. Tried Registry Booster and Regcure to see what would come of it. Came up with 1600+ entries. Have not repaired anything. Not sure what to do now . My issue is on starup. AVG v8 comes up with trojan horse warnings. Like I said, I'm not a whiz on this stuff.

Spacecat, you obviously don't know what you're doing. Registry Boosers or whatever are completely useless, with or without a virus.
We also do NOT want users posting their email on the forum, especially in this case.

So anyways........ back on topic now. I did follow the link to the post in the forum and included the logs from the scans in my first post. Did NOT repair anything with a registry fix.
