Windows Media Player and AVI

I have downloaded a video and its an AVI file, but when I try to play it with Windows Media Player I only get the sound, there is no video.

Can anyone sugest a way to sort this?

Download K-Lite codecs and install them

yeah do that. it has no problems and is always being updated so you don't get anything not working
