An Aliant teck. installed high speed internet yesterday. Everything works great EXCEPT I can no longer change or even display the background picture on my desktop. As soon as I disconnect the internet everything is fine. When i reboot I see the background for about a second and it immediately returns to a blank white page. It does however display my desktop icons. Can anyone offer a suggestion to what is wrong. I called the telephone co. they tell me its a microsoft problem
