wireless dsl router

I am trying to install a D-Link DI-514 WirelessCable/ DSL Router. I have a SBC supplied Speedstream dsl modem. The connections are correct but the system cannot get to the internet. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I did turn off the firewall. I am using Windows XP home edition.

Were there any drivers to install? Are they compatible? Also, do you have the antenna connected to the back of your computer right now? If so, then... You need to have a WIRED connection for setup, and THEN you can use the antenna for wireless...
