    what Speed of RAM would better suit my system?

    i am looking to buy more memory for my computer and i am not sure what MHz i should get. also what is the maximum speed of RAM i can have without my computer affecting it.

    i am using Windows XP These are my specs:

    This will scan your system and tell you what kind of ram to use and how much you can use

    From the documentation on Dell's site, it seems you can have a maximum of 4GB of RAM (1GB in each memory slot).
    Supported speeds seem to be 400 or 553MHz DDR2.
