Some strange sound is clicking in my computer !

Hello all,

I need some help on finding out what is wrong with my computer..it make a clicking sound when i boot up and it doesn't allow me to go into Windows..

here are some screen shots to it..

the first one is what comes up..

then after pressing ctl-alt-b, this screen comes up.

what could be the problem??

Looks like hard drive is kaput, broken, finished, dead. The clicking is one clue, the screen shots back that up.
