S.M.A.R.T Readings
« on: January 26, 2009, 11:52:39 PM »
Hey guys

So what i am wanting to know is...Just how accurate are SMART readings from the hard drive?

A while ago, perhaps 1 month ago, all my drives had at least 98% fitness and performance. However today I ran speedfan and was shocked to see one of them on 61% on the exotics tab!

For those who can tell me what on earth it means, here is an in-depth analysis:

And is it anything to worry about?

If i remember right in an earlier post there was someone having a similar problem and i believe the solution was that the exotics tab was still a beta and might be encountering some problems.
