I have the same problem as well!!!
I also have AVG 8 installed on my Windows XP Home Edition and the following 2 files were sent to the virus fault:
C:Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Sims.exe
and
C:\System Volume Information\_restore{A9C47B8A-3CBA-4B5E-AC85-6D30CE72}\RP135\A00241.52.exe
Can someone please help me. I have already sent my PC to a PC repair store and they've said "the problem has been fixed" but as soon as I've reloaded the Sims onto my PC today, a "Resident Shield Alert" popped up again warning me that C: Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Sims.exe has been infected by Trojan Horse SHeur2.LVU
AGAIN!!!
