    ip address through command.

    Dear team,
                      i know how to give ip address/ subnet mask through commang but i want to know, suppose user give ip address for a pc & i want to set it the feature obtain ip automatically while i have already configure DHCP on server.i want the same with command.

    tell me..

      I dont really understand the question either, you can set it to automatic, but you cant set it to automatic and give it a static ip.

        tell me..

        if your asking what I think...then open a command window and type

         netsh /?  and you'll see all the commands you have for dhcp/ip/etc.

        that doesn't even make any sense. It's like saying, are you looking for somebody's address mailbox?
        I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

              not a moderator so don't look for those things...just try to help people, if that was my job to monitor post for trolls/etc. I think I'd find another job...LOL BUT
              maybe it would be better to notify people so we don't waste our time trying to help someone who is doing these things and/or just lock the post when you have that knowledge...thanks for your time/support/moderation you all do a good job under not the best of circumstances sometimes...!!!
