When you press the Power Button, does ANYTHING happen?

Do you have a surge protector or a fuse in the plug?

yes I have a surge protector. And nothing happens when I turn the power button on. However, I can take the cover off, and there is a green light on, on the circuit board.

      Unplug the PSU.
      Replace the power strip.
Flip the on/off switch on the PSU a few times
Plug in the PSU and see...
