      Thats probably a far trip for you but I watch out for the rouge squrriels an stuff.  Squrriel chuck power  ;D

      Basically, squall, the proper way to do something like you are attempting is:

      1. Find out all you can about the subject. You have internet access, is it too hard to type "Commodore 64 hardware" into Google?

      2. Make sure you know what you are doing! Read some basic electronics text books. Learn how things work.

      3. Be confident and knowledgable to start the task

      4. Perform the operation.

      The trouble is, you skipped steps (1) to (3).

      Or, more likely, on each of three days they thought "I'd better do my homework", typed "paskal" into Ask Jeeves or AOL, found nothing, and carried on surfing for bikini babes or playing games or whatever young people do with computers, and panicked when assignment day drew nigh.

        the best people to talk to is someone who's had experince a page could only led you so far till you run into all.  Thanks for letting me know that this stuff still really thivse.  Like you said no one really does this stuff anymore.  Second that part is true but I'm not of the depot type.
