hi again guys hope you might be able to help me here?ive built a new pc .ive installed windows xp sp1.everything runs fine for about 30mins then the pc reboots for a couple of seconds then stops at that point  the sceen message says
DISCREAD ERROR OCCURED.
PRESS CTRL/ALT/DELT TO RESTART.when i do this it just reboots to the same message and the only way i can get it to boot up is to reinstall xp ?then it runs again for another 30 mins until reboot .ive done this 4 times now ?any ideas guys please im stuck ?
everything is new but the hard drive .

    Hello friend how are you? First of all set the BIOS settings to factory deafult. Secondly do install windows from different CD. If changing CD doesn't work, then you must have to delete all the partitions and repartition your hard drive. Then install the windows.

    many thanks dr but ive tried all you say before i posted the topic but nothing seems to make a difference . ???
