    I want to get a free program that will allow me to run a virtual operating system on my xp machine. I would like to run Linux on it. How do I go about doing that?

    I believe the new version of Uvuntu does just that. You can run it as an XP application.

      try virtualbox.
      I havent tried it because i am into virtualpc.

      but I heard virtualbox is better than virtualpc.
