sounds like it would just be slow in general.  Thats why you get a good virus scanner that sends death to any virus entering.

Wasn't that slow, actually. did some manual tweaking meself to services and even kernel level drivers to remove the unnecessary. went fast enough to run Quake 3 at a constant 50fps.
I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

    I suppose not then, of course were not the average user so I should have thought some way you had modified it to work.   ;D

    yep, it was my only PC at the time, so I had to work with what I had :)

    I eventually got tired of it and got this P4, 1.6Ghz beats 350Mhz by a wide margin ;D

      should upgrade the chip there cheap enough know for that kind of board an stuff.  Yeah I had dell demsion 4100 it wasnt the greatest ether but it done what every one else did till pent 4 an stuff.

      Dell dimension 4400.

      But I also have a Dual Core 64-bit 2Ghz Toshiba l300, with Vista ultimate for those apps that demand performance.

      crappy graphics, but it runs most applications much faster (DUH). and I can even do some gamecube emulation...

        Interesting, my better build had died so I'm subing for what I have posted its not as good but running a c64 emmulator on it an such like that.
