Haven't done it in a while. Something like opening the Help feature and then typing in a url into the search field.
True- probably would work somehow- the help is a CHM... but on the other hand, that means it would likely work with notepad. as well- or any program with CHM based help.
I know what it was- it opens CHM help of some sort, and then you click on the control icon in the top+left, and select "Jump to URL"
I remember this annoying feature because I kept hitting it when trying to click Close when the program was minimized. I've always disliked programs that change the sysmenu.
Even worse they will have the actual "borrowing" marks (cross out 2, give the tens spot ten, etc...)
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
It actually made me weep a little to think that these people were actually part of my generation... I told them "requiring" graphing calculators for Grade 11 and 12 was a huge mistake. Just taught them about the TI-83, not the bloody math. I'm probably the only one who even knew WHAT a standard deviation WAS, aside from a bloody function on the calculator. GRRRR.
of course with the calculator AND know what the heck was going on I just wrote TI-BASIC programs for each kind of question- which presented the answer in several ways that might be requested on the test. Saved a lot of time on most questions- even those that required me to "show my work" since the program DID show it's work... and I copied it... heh heh.
