He said he can't download those. Anyway, why post again when we are already waiting for an answer?

What exactly is preventing you from downloading these?
        Eg: An error message,
        Page can not be found?
        Server error?
        Nothing happens at all?
Popup appears saying: "AHAHHAMUAHAHAHAAHAHAH! I HAVE TAKEN OVER!"?

          Thank you for the replies.
I was advised to download Firefox firstly to facilitate the downloading of Adobe.  I have since downloaded Firefox but still cannot download Adobe.

There's no message - just nothing happens

There's no need to install Firefox to download Adobe, no need whatsoever.  Why didn't you just download it with Internet Explorer?

I thought I had downloaded Adobe. It was classed as "untrusted". I altered that but I still cannot use videos.

Since then I've also got rid of Firefox.

Its more trouble than its worth!!!

I'm also having trouble getting Thunderbird email to work so I'll stick to Yahoo.

              Thanks anyway.

Umm, what trouble?  Thousands of happy Firefox users would disagree.

Thunderbird also has many satisfied users.

No doubt. But it seems that if anything will go wrong on a computer it will go wrong on mine - even simple things.
