no sound and network (windows xp)
    « on: February 08, 2009, 09:32:54 PM »
I have a Biostar NF-61S Micro 754 motherboard (Nvidia GeForce 6100 chipset) and after the system crashed (and it was reformatted), I did not get any sound from the onboard sound and I did not see the icon on the system tray that says:
    LAN
    Speed:100.0 Mbps
    Status: Connected

Should I install separate LAN and sound cards?

    Did you install motherboard drivers?

Go to the website for your computer manufacturer and download and install the appropriate drivers.
