I ran linux an it came up with this. ess technology es1988 allegro-1 driver = snd - mastero3.

How do i find the network card info I ran knoppixs an tried an figured out what I needed from the loading screen.

compaq 5BW120 here sorry about that still talking to them. But umm I even went to the main site and still nothing after getting the driver from them. Going to have to talk with them too.

not differnt issue. but it seems like I got the right driver know will have to get back to ya if it works or not. Mite be a few days new board comeing.

I wasn't saying you were lame, I meant LMAO- because you mentioned the conversations with Dell as if they were relevant, it was funny since it was like you were talking to somebody in person, and you didn't want them to be put off because you were on the phone. that's all.

It still persist but found the required drivers. Seems that I need the ones for the chipset.

If you want to download linux you should download at IBM Lenovo because they got the driver

? no, he gave me the wrong chipset drivers but my dad has a compaq close to mine. Going to try an see if those wont work.
