That might be it!  I probably have several restore points.  How do I go about checking into that and rectifying it?

    I agree with patio some what on this.  How many app's do you have installed?  This will cause the same issue as well and boggle it down.  There's a program called tree size that you could use and look at files on the drive and see how big they are an stuff like that.
