    how to access a NTFS disc from another compute

    I have vista and I bought the adapter sata to usb to read another hd from a dead laptop, the system recognize it but when I tried to acces shows "access denied" someone told me that could be because I have NTFS hard drive

    can someone help me?

    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

        I don't have the security tab on the drive, this one was on a laptop with xp system

        hmm, strange... my XP has security tabs for all it's drives as well as my vista, removable or otherwise.

        did you try the other options presented?
        I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

          yes I'm login as administrator and my OS is vista, I open other drive that I have and shows the security tab but not in this one, and when I just plug in this one immediately shows "access denied"
