    99c On my cpu , why hasnt it died? **Patio** :)

    CPU Type   DualCore Intel Pentium E5200 <------

    As soon as i got into game , it sky rocketed to 99c , and as soon as i left game it went back to 55c -60c , i was only in game for 5 minutes 10 max.

    Fans 100% working , 1700Rpm.

    Reseated the cpu and added a new layer of thermal compound.

    Where are the temps being reported from ? ?

    Why did you single me out ? ?

    P.S. 1700 RPM sounds low for that CPU cooler...aftermarket...or stock ? ?

      Ive bought a new fan . Nice cool temps.

      It couldn't of been 99c .

      It couldn't have been 99 C

      But why not? My P4 went up to 91 when the fan stopped. It still works fine by the way.

        did you install your old fan yourself or did it come with your rig(pre-installed)?
