    Vista Computer = Vista Printer?

    Hello.

    My dad is debating if you have a Vista Comp, you need a vista Printer, is that correct?

    More, or less, yes. Vista compatible printer driver has to installed.

      How can i get a Vista driver on a Vista computer for an XP printer?

      There are no XP printers.
      You have to check the printer manufacturer site to see what operating system(s), the printer is compatible with.

            Downloading the file right now. If I get it downloaded successfully, can I still print from Vista AND Xp?

            And, if I get a Vista laptop, I'll need some sort of cable to get from the printer, right?

            If they are on the same network, you just go to the control panel and select Add Printer.

              Thanks a bunch (about the last part). I was downloading the Vista Printer...drive I guess, and it said there was an error of the OS. Should I just DLoad it when I GET it so it registers the Vista?
