Travelling in Italy. Google and other things are in Italian!

 I can't figure out how to make everything English.
  My computer is set up in the US, but I'm currently working in Italy.
When I open Firefox, I use Google as my homepage. It comes up in Italian. Also when I try to open Outlook in my company's VPN, I get a pop up warning in Italian, so I don't know what it says.

Google is coming up in Italian because it uses a GeoIP service to see where in the world you are, and then redirect you to that country's page.
