    computer's memory crashed

    i have a friend that,

     Yesterday his computer's memory crashed, som I re-installed XP, somehow all  of his software is installing into drive H... instead of C.... and now it warns him of low memory.... can he fix this without re-installing windows?

    Only way is with a program like partition magic or something that will make the partions all into one

    Well the problem is that the operating system installed on a different partition and the C partition has most of the storage and hes running out of space on his D drive and needs to put the 2 partitions togehter

    this is the second time I've seen you give a premature diagnosis without fully comprehending the symptoms...

    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

    regardless- there are free partitioning tools.
