What makes you think this is a malware issue? I see no problems in the logs.

I posted this earlier.  I also spoke to Dell online last night and they thought the same. I am really not sure. In safe mode I can boot up and the computer seems fine. In normal boot it goes blank screen after I log in, but log in page looks and acts normal.

Try creating a new user account and see if it will work.

I created a new user acct "test" and booted normal. It did the same thing...once i clicked on the user icon it spun the welcome screen for a while and then went to the pretty blue background screen with no icons, menu bar or anything. I did the CTL, ALT, DEL and tried to get to task manager but got the same error...the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)
         ???

I don't think this is a malware issue.

        Try this http://vistasupport.mvps.org/system_file_checker.htm

Or try restoring to before this started happening.

If that doesn't work try posting in the Windows forum for help.
