Generally it's in the root directory of the C: drive. It has hidden and system attributes.

Why do you need to "access" it?

right click My Computer
choose Properties
select the Advanced tab
click the Settings button under the Performance section
select the Advanced tab
click the Change button under the Virtual Memory section
It will tell you what drive it is on.
The file name is pagefile.sys, it will only show up if you have selected to unhide hidden and system files.

If for some reason it is corrupted then in the previous window set it to "No paging file".
Reboot the computer, go back to the Virtual Memory settings and set it back up again.
