more than once a day? DEFINITELY OSD.

How many times a day do you clean your oven?  :P

odd how this came up though because just the other day I took my mouse apart and cleaned it and removed all my keycaps and blew out all the crap underneath the keys.

I don't clean my mouse...it's optical.  The sticky crap on it keeps my hand from slipping off...so, I leave the mouse alone.  Every other day, I turn the keyboard upside down and bang it against my desktop...you should see the crap that falls out...you could plant corn in the debris.

        heh, sticky crap...

I would have scraped it out,but I figured it would be best to open it up, especially since the, err- "cream cheese accident" a few weeks ago...

BC--Oh I have an Intellimouse.  Mine glows red.  Kinda cool.  Hate it though.  No ports on my new computer.

Glitch--I have an optical mouse as well.  And thats disgusting!  You don't clean it?  Just think:  everything you toutched today will be on that mouse.  No wonder these people are getting sick!  And do you make creamed corn?

Physically cleaning the outside, I clean my keyboard once a month (its a laptop keyboard, the matte finish has worn off and it gets greasy), I hardly ever clean the mouse off.

As for the inside of a mouse, I suppose, once a month. Sometimes I pick up one at school and clean it out if its really bad... so, numbers for that arent exactly sure.

While attempting to post, I got two: "Someone has replied, please review your post" messages..

Zylstra--My school still uses the crappy 1.5ghz 512mb E-Macs.  Just for kicks, I sometimes pull the plug on them just to make them break.  Then we get to use a laptop.  Not much better, same speed, g4, but it i s a LAPTOP!

and yeah, I keep getting a "peeps is postin" warning.

I actually stopped caring when students would destroy computers when I was given full access to the ghost server...
I could just push out updates right when they were destroying them, forcing them off even.

Then the ghost server crashed, and now we dont have clean images of anything anymore.
