Installed game now screen is supersize!
« on: March 10, 2009, 02:08:36 PM »
Sorry in advance for my lack of proper technical terms - I've just installed a disc of simon the sorcerer 2 on my pc - i have windows vista, and the game started but the graphics were all strange coloured so i exited out to find my windows screen looking crazy - it looks as though its been massively magnified so the screen can only display a tiny square of what it normally looks like! Have tried exiting, restarting etc but it won't go back to normal! during the installing a couple of windows appeared which i accepted but i thought this was just so the game would run properly... Help!

Boot to safe mode by powering up and tapping F8 repeatedly before you see the Windows splash screen...
Let it load fully...it won't look normal either.
Right click an empty spot on the desktop and select Properties.
Choose a conservative resolution such as 1024X768 to start with and save the changes and re-boot.
